Qualified & Experienced
As a long-term resident of Wilson County and with a family background in teaching, I have gained extensive knowledge of the requirements of our district, students, and school staff. Having attended Wilson County schools myself and having a child who recently graduated and another enrolled in the school system, I have a deep understanding of the issues we are currently facing as a district and in education. As the unanimously elected chair of the school board, I recognize the significance of collaborating with fellow board members and local government entities to achieve outcomes that prioritize the well-being of our students and community.

As a current parent, I encounter similar situations and concerns as other parents do. In tackling these matters, I diligently ensure effective communication not just within my elected zone, but also with the broader community.
